We pour the fresh honey, harvested at the Šerkšnas apiary, into glass containers, seal them tightly, and store them in a cool, dark place. After about three weeks, the fresh honey begins to crystallize and lighten in color, with glucose crystals forming on the surface. This is characteristic only of natural, unprocessed honey. If you choose this honey, we will pack you some forest blossom honey. It has a darker yellow color and a stronger aroma. Honey is not only a source of glucose, fructose and carbohydrates, but also a means of stimulating the release of serotonin (the so-called “happiness hormone”).
